melinda i use as a facial moisturizer...i love it for that, plus the price is very reasonable.

T3 I haven't had a serious outbreak of eczema in years except for the usual small outbreak during summer months. However, while home on R&R, my neck broke out bad, and like anyone with a previous history of ezcema, it begin to spread to my shoulders. Being deployed in Afghanistan and the conditions doesn't help at all. After ordering the Aveeno Ezcema Moisturing Cream, in conjunction with the Aveeno Relief Ezcema Body Wash, I really noticed and felt a difference in less than a week. Even with the Afghan heat, the cream offers lasting protection and is not oily like most ezcema creams. You can actually smell a hint of the oatmeal in the cream. It is very soothing on when applied to the areas of irritation. I highly recommend this cream, especially when I was growing up the only choices you had where ucerin and the steroid creams offered by the dermatologists.

rosey carpenter While some may think this Aveena Eczema Therapy cream is heavy, it is for irritated, dry problematic skin. It does provide a good, lasting barrier and I find it non-irritating. It is excellent at bedtime to promote healing (from any scratching done during the day). Note that during the height of my atopic dermatitis, it is only part of the solution. The atopic dermatitis for me is a permanent condition due to years of chemical exposure such that I do not produce oils sufficiently anymore. There are a lot of us out there. The condition is exacerbated by seasonal allergies and occasional food sensitivies (no specific all-out allergies). SOME OF YOU out there may get some anti-itch benefit from your seasonal allergy medicine if it has anti-histimine qualities & you may get a benefit from excluding from your diet (for an extended periods-30 days or more) any food items or similarly associated additives derived from the same food groups that heighten your sensitivity. The observations offered are from my Dermotologist and Allergist working in concert. It's never just ONE thing and it may not be to the same degree every day. I also like the Dermarest Eczema Medicated Lotion. It helps after I've addressed the other issues, but the Dermarest can sting open scratches. I've ceased use of the steroid creams as I've found it's more effective for me to address it as a systemic problem.

Albee I developed eczema for the first time this year, and desperately tried every product out there to soothe my painful skin. Aveeno was one of the first products I used and it did help calm my skin and make my skin feel better. I don't think it was that effective on really bad cases of eczema, but when I did apply it before sleep, it helped prevent me from itching throughout the night. I mostly used this product on my face, so I'm not sure if it has the same effects on other parts of the body.

Jersey Girl I originally got a sample of this cream @ my dermatologist's office. I liked it so much that I bought the full size tube. I have dry and damaged skin on my hands from years of scrubbing/washing my hands many times per day as I am a nurse. I didn't want to use a steroid cream. I use this at night and sometimes wear white cotton gloves over my hands after applying to really let it sink in. It's a great all around winter time body moisture cream.

Lynner This is the best lotion for dry-climate-hand care and trust me, I have tried them ALL. They are either too greasy or they don't work at all. I do not have exzema so I can't speak to that, but it certainly will keep your hands from being dry.

venustusa I have been having an annoying rash on my right hand for a while. This product is great because it really helps healing the dryness of my skin. It also does not contain steroid. The oatmeal smell is wonderful. Love this product, well worth the money.

CatBookMom This was suggested in an online forum about psoriasis and eczema. Since I have psoriasis on my hands and my daily life involves a lot of hand-washing, my hands are always dry and itchy. This cream works well and the moisturizing effects do last through a couple of hand-washings.

Four iron I have used many products to try to keep my skin from cracking and to clear up minor red marks and none have done the job like Aveeno. I am old and this makes me look years younger.
